Spring Switch Sign

SKU: N/A Categories: ,

The spring switch sign is a classic sight along the many APB main lines throughout the Southern Railway system.  The most famous of these is the Asheville District from Asheville, NC to Salisbury, NC, of which this store is named after.  These signs would be used to mark the clearance point of the spring switches used on either end of most sidings where trains would meet. They were also seen throughout the system wherever spring switches would be used, such as in wyes or uncontrolled junctions.  These signs are made exactly to the official Southern Railway standards using 1/4″ aluminum plate, reflective white vinyl for the background, and non-reflective black vinyl for the decals.  Fulfillment time for all orders is 1-5 weeks.
